We advise against applying when we don't think the chances justify the time and cost involved, even though that means turning away paid work.
How it works
- Free check. Tell us about your event or project. We send you a short written brief: the grants it could apply for, how strong an application would be, what would make it stronger, and our fee.
- Fixed fee. Agreed in writing before any work starts. There's no success fee.
- We write it. Once you go ahead, we email you a list of what we need, then write every answer against the funder's criteria. You check and approve the final application.
- You lodge. You submit it to the funder, unless you ask us to.
- If it's funded. We offer acquittal support (quoted separately) and a grant calendar service.
Questions
What does the free check cover?
A short written brief on the grants your event or project could apply for, how strong an application would be, what would make it stronger, and our fee. It's free, there's no obligation, and there's no need for a call.
What does it cost?
A fixed fee for each application, agreed in writing before any work starts. It depends on the size of the job, so we quote it in your free brief. There's never a success fee.
Do you lodge the application?
You lodge it, unless you ask us to. Either way, you approve the final version first.
Can you guarantee funding?
No one can. Funders make the decisions, and in a competitive round eligible applications still miss out. We tell you where you stand before you pay anything.
Is there anything you don't do?
We only write grant applications. We don't arrange loans or investors, broker carbon credits, or advise on tax, GST or the R&D Tax Incentive. For those, talk to your accountant or a licensed adviser.
Are you part of the government?
No. We're an independent grant writer, not part of any government or funding body.
