What it can cover

Grants go up to $50,000 if your export revenue was over $500,000 in 2023-24 or 2024-25, and up to $5,000 if it was under.

It can pay for outside advice on trade strategy, tariffs and compliance, supply chain changes, and export plans or market research for new markets.

There's no closing date: it stays open until the funding is allocated. It starts with an expression of interest, and it's competitive, with no guarantee of an offer.

Who can apply

  • You have an active South Australian registered ABN, or significant operations in South Australia.

  • You make the product or service mainly in South Australia, under your own brand.

  • Staff wages, capital items and routine work in markets you already serve.
  • Work by your existing accountant, lawyer or adviser.
  • Activities funded through EMDG or another government program.
  • Costs incurred before the grant agreement is signed, and the cost of preparing the application, including our fee.

What we do

We write grant applications for exporters like you, for a fixed fee agreed before any work starts. You lodge the application, unless you ask us to.

First, we check one project against the program for free. If we don't think it's worth your time and money to apply, we'll tell you.

We're an independent grant writer, not part of the South Australian Government.
