What it can cover

It can cover up to half the eligible cost of a project, with grants from $100,000 to $1.5 million.

That includes robotics, cobots, equipment that automates an existing process, and software that links your systems, such as ERP, MRP or MES.

Round 2 has $12.5 million and closes at 1pm on Wednesday 25 November 2026, with no late applications.

Who can apply

  • Most of your turnover comes from manufacturing.
  • You have 5 to 200 full-time equivalent staff, including at least five in Queensland.
  • You've operated in Queensland for at least three years in a row by the closing date.
  • Any equipment you buy has Industry 4.0 or 5.0 features.
  • The project site is in Queensland, and your business will own the equipment.
  • You have an active ABN and are registered for GST.
  • You can afford the project, as grants are paid in arrears.

Who it isn't for

  • Anything bought or paid for before the grant agreement is signed.
  • Repairs, maintenance or like-for-like replacement of existing equipment.
  • Leased or hire-purchased equipment, vehicles and non-fixed equipment.
  • Partnerships, charities, not-for-profits and government bodies.
  • Projects with other government funding, and businesses with an active TQMGP agreement.
  • Projects under $200,000 of eligible costs, as the smallest grant is $100,000 and it can't exceed half.

Successful applicants must give a bank guarantee or security over assets, so check with your bank first.

The round is competitive, so eligible projects can still miss out.

What we do

We write grant applications for manufacturers like you, for a fixed fee agreed before any work starts. You lodge the application, unless you ask us to.

First, we check one project against the program for free. If we don't think it's worth your time and money to apply, we'll tell you.

We're an independent grant writer, not part of the Queensland Government.

Ask for a free check

Send us a rough idea of the project and its cost using the form below. We'll come back with your chances, what the form asks for and anything that could rule you out. It's free, and there's no need for a call.

Free and confidential.
